GOVERNOR BOBOY HAMOR LAUNCHES ROAD OPENING CEREMONY, EASING ACCESS FOR RESIDENTS OF BARANGAY CAWAYAN, IROSIN

In a significant move towards improving infrastructure and addressing the long-standing transportation issues faced by the residents of Barangay Cawayan, Irosin, Governor Boboy Hamor spearheaded a simple ceremony to commence the road opening project.

The Patag-Cawayan road, once completed, will provide a shorter and safer route, fulfilling the dreams of the local community.

During the ceremony, emotions ran high as Barangay Captain Flory Lozada expressed her gratitude, acknowledging that this project represents the answer to their decade-long plea for a more secure road leading to their barangay. The residents of Cawayan have long suffered from the lack of proper access, which has hindered their daily lives and economic opportunities.

To expedite the road project, the provincial engineering office estimates that it will take approximately two months to complete the road opening, ensuring access to the isolated barangay.

Governor Boboy emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to investing heavily in modern heavy equipment, specifically to expedite road projects in remote areas within the province.

With the commencement of the Patag-Cawayan road project, Governor Boboy Hamor and the provincial government are taking a significant step towards improving the lives of the residents of Barangay Cawayan. The newly established route will not only shorten travel distances but also ensure safer and more efficient transportation.
