LOOK | Pilar, Sorsogon Kick-Off on Kalinigan Program Following the commencement of the Municipalities of Castilla, Matnog, and Bulusan, Sorsogon on Kalinigan program under the 7K Flagship project of Governor Edwin “Boboy” B. Hamor— the debut of Pilar Sorsogon has rigorously paved its way embracing the Kalinigan program with a warm welcome! This beautifying effort, coordinated by the Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Culture and Arts Office, was pioneered by chosen areas in the municipality of Pilar, Sorsogon. The program was a success, owing to the united effort of the Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Culture and Arts Office, which heads the Kalinigan & Kagandahan Program, and the Municipal Mayor of Pilar, Sorsogon—Hon. Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes. This effort would not have been possible without the aid of PENRO, PEO, SPDRRMO staff, Sorsogon Provincial Eco-Aides, and freshly engaged brush cutter operators. In pledging their full support for the 7K Flagship programs of Governor Edwin “Boboy” B. Hamor, the LGU of Pilar, Sorsogon established The Executive Order No. 34, Series of 2022, an Executive Order Organizing Pilar Municipal 7K Team (PM7K) of Pilar Sorsogon and for other purpose hereto related with the 7K Programs. This initiative seeks to give employment and livelihoods to every Sorsoganon, in addition to cleaning and beautifying roads and streets, because together with Governor Edwin “Boboy” B.
