Governor Boboy Hamor expressed his appreciation today as the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) presented the province of Sorsogon with 10 brand-new firetrucks and two fully-equipped ambulances. The assets, which were officially handed over by BFP Bicol Regional Director C/Supt. Ricardo C. Perdigon, in a simple ceremony with provincial administrator Franco Eric Ravanilla at the capitol compound.
The acquisition of these vital assets marks a significant milestone in enhancing the response capabilities of the province in the event of fires and other related emergencies. Governor Hamor, in his statement, emphasized the importance of having these modern resources to safeguard the lives and properties of the people of Sorsogon.
“These firetrucks and ambulances will greatly contribute to our ability to respond swiftly and effectively during emergencies,” Governor Hamor remarked. “The safety and welfare of our constituents are our top priority, and the addition of these assets will undoubtedly improve our emergency services.”
The newly acquired firetrucks are equipped with advanced firefighting equipment and state-of-the-art technology to combat even the most challenging fire incidents. The ambulances, on the other hand, are fully equipped with essential medical supplies and life-saving equipment to provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies.
Governor Hamor concluded by expressing his gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection for their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of the community. He also urged the residents of Sorsogon to remain vigilant and cooperative with the authorities to further strengthen the province’s emergency response system.
With the arrival of these 10 firetrucks and two ambulances, Sorsogon is now better equipped to handle fire incidents and respond to emergencies promptly, further ensuring the protection and security of its residents.
