Provincial Economic Development through Innovative Agriculture Program
• Assistance to farmers per municipality/city such as but not limited to the following:
– Distribution of rice seeds (BINHI)
– Distribution of Fertilizers
– Distribution of High Value crop seeds – Livestock and poultry production through:
• Ready-to-breed gilt dispersal
• Goal dispersal
• Mallard duck dispersal
– Libreng Paarado( PLOWING USING FOUR-WHEEL TRACTOR)
– Distribution of farm tools, equipment and machinery
• Palay buying of stockpiling purpose
– Buying of the 50% of palay produced by marginal farmers at better or higher price.
– Palay will be milled and sold to municipalities at lower price (e.g. Php 29.00/kilo) and in turn sold to barangays for stockpiling ( addressing the mandate of the law on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management)
– Palay buying and drying shall be done by provincial employees.
• Ricemill and warehouse in strategic municipalities to the province of Sorsogon (JUBAN & GUBAT)
• Assistance to fishermen per municipality/city such as but not limited to the following
– Enhancement of oyster and green mussel farming
– Distribution of Tilapia fingerlings
– Distribution of fishing parapherl-nalia to maginal fishermen
• Assistance to small scale Industry and homemade fishery products.
