The Kasanggayahan Festival wouldn’t be complete without the Kasanggayahan Provincial Historico-Cultural Parade & Float Competition. This event highlights Sorsogon’s rich cultural heritage, showcasing the traditions that are still very much alive in the province today.
Fourteen municipalities will compete in this grand celebration, bringing a vibrant mix of performances and displays that reflect the heart of Sorsogon’s traditions. The competition also includes a float parade, where 14 municipalities and 1 city will present floats that represent their local values, culture, and history.
Join us on October 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM as the parade begins at the Sorsogon Sports Arena and concludes at the Sorsogon Capitol Compound. The floats will remain on display at the Sorsogon Sports Arena from October 14 to 28, 2024, serving as a centerpiece and art installation for the 50th Golden Anniversary of the Kasanggayahan Festival.
